About this room
Your biggest room in the flat, made for arriving with a full suitcase: a double bed, a fitted wardrobe and a street view.
The flat is 98 m² for five people, students and young professionals aged 20 to 35 with the city ahead of them. What sets it apart tells itself: two shared bathrooms, both with showers (none of the usual shower-less toilet here), and a huge kitchen-diner that's the flat's social heart. The kitchen has a ceramic hob and full crockery, there's a washing machine, a lift and a private lock on every room. 98 well-distributed square metres for five, right in the real centre of Valencia.
H5 is the biggest room in the flat, the most homey option, made for whoever arrives in Valencia with a full suitcase (a year's Erasmus, a relocation, a long contract). It has real space to move and breathe, a big fitted wardrobe that swallows a whole season's clothes, a direct street view and plenty of light to feel the neighbourhood's rhythm from inside. Inside, a 135 double bed in a single room, a desk with sockets at the headboard. For whoever spends time in the room and wants space to spare to live in it.

The neighbourhood
Extramurs is home to Valencia's so-called Barri Xinès, a historic name that comes from its past as a working-class, mixed neighbourhood (nothing to do with Asian migration) and that today defines one of the city's most transforming areas: a very active cultural scene, a Sunday flea market, lifelong bars and new dining. A few minutes away you've got Calle Colón, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the Estación del Norte, with regional and commuter trains a short walk away.
Your new routine looks like this: coffee at a neighbourhood café before heading out, then to class or work on foot, since Colón and the Town Hall are a step away. At midday you eat fast at a local spot, and in the afternoon you stroll down Colón or settle on a historic terrace. At night, a bar in the area and debate till late, and you open Sunday at the neighbourhood flea market. And to leave Valencia, the Estación del Norte is within walking distance.
